Instead of using the typical, hard plastisol inks (a synthetic resin which must be heated to use and requires environmentally harmful solvents to clean from screens), we use a combination of discharge (a process which removes the original color from the fabric being printed) and water-based inks. It’s an eco-conscious process that results in a soft garment that resists fading, will never crack and keeps you looking dashingly primal.
SOFT THREADS: AN EPIC TALE
WINSTON WAS A SIMPLE CAVEMAN.
More simple than most in that he always reused last season’s mammoth hide and enjoyed his steak unusually rare.
HOWEVER, WINSTON WAS NOT TRULY HAPPY.
Regardless of his easy demeanor, Winston desired one thing… to be rid of his antiquated, cracked and faded tees.
He’d sit outside his simple dwelling in the evenings, engaged in uncanny ponderings (unrealistic ideas of building a system of pipes to provide a continually available source of water) and reach up to scratch his chest, deep in thought, only to be rudely removed from his daydreaming by the feel of rough, cracked, plastic inks on his non-moisture wicking tee.
HOW HE LONGED FOR A SOFT ALTERNATIVE. A POLY-BLEND FABRIC WITH A WATER-BASED, DISCHARGE INK. SOMETHING ECOLOGICALLY RESPONSIBLE, ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS, SOFT TO THE TOUCH, FADE AND SHRINK RESISTANT… AND JUST PLAIN AWESOME TO WEAR.
But, as you know, Winston was a simple nomad. These were just pipe dreams, after all. But dream he did. And as with all great stories, Winston’s dreams eventually became a reality. Thanks to the invention of Cavecloth, many, MANY millennia later, Winston’s hope for a soft, earth-friendly tee materialized. And although Winston (dead and decomposed long, LONG before the inception of this miraculous Cavecloth movement) would never realize his life-long desire, many, MANY generations of decedents would come to discover its life-changing properties.
